He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his son Colin Darwin; his parents, James Bennett and Sarah Bennett (McMillan); and his siblings, Violet Pickard (Garnet), Isabelle Smith (Bill), Elwood Bennett (Helen) and Max Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Dorylea Wilson (Barry) of Pierson and Brad Bennett (Gayle) of Estevan; his grandchildren, Ryan Wilson (Laura), Michelle Clark (Jared), Ashley Steffensen (Ryan) and Nick Bennett (Jaye); his great grandchildren, Cole, Shane, Ashton, Layne, Wyatt, Clay, Rhett, Carter, Slade and Jayce; and his sister-in-law Shirley Bennett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
