He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Bertie Johnson; his close friends, Pam Wyatt and Jeff Sykes; his mother Pat Johnson; his children, Chantel and Corey Johnson; his granddaughter Darlene Johnson (Belva); his sister Diane Gedak (Rob Shaw); his nieces, Stacey Gedak and Dana Gedak (Duke); Tyler Wyatt, Richard Paice, Terry, Dustin, Danny, Derek Sykes and Craig. He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
