He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Blackmore and Adeline Blackmore; his siblings, Erma Milkert (Hans), Viola Reichert (Art), Duaine Blackmore (Beverley) and Vernon Blackmore; and his brother-in-law Einner Dahl.

He is survived by: his wife Roseann Blackmore; his children, Lisa DeRoose (Rene), Darcy Tristyn (Anna) and Lynn Telenga (Sheldon); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ramsay (Ben) and Kassidy; his great grandchild Oakley; his pet Lyssa; and his siblings, Doug Blackmore, John Blackmore, Jim Blackmore (Brenda) and Cheryl Dahl (John Paul). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
