He was predeceased by: his mother Susan Benjamin (McMillan); his siblings, Lorne Benjamin, Ken McMillan, Irene Hanson and Yvonne Cowan; his in-laws, Russell Wruth and Ethel Wruth; and his siblings-in-law, Abe Harder, Bud Hanson, Theodore Cowan, Dick Stoesz, Carol McMillan, Gordon Wruth, Joanne Benjamin, Jack Wruth, Carol Harder and Arlene Wruth.
He is survived by: his significant other Mary Ellen Benjamin (Wruth); his children, Angela Charlebois (Cameron) of White City and Ryan Benjamin (Danielle) of Carlyle; his grandchildren, Grady Benjamin, Ryder Benjamin, Braxton Charlebois and Nyah Charlebois; his siblings, Mavis Hawker (Lethbridge), Glen Benjamin (Lloydminster) and Barb Stoesz (Medicine Hat); and also, Brian (Colleen), Craig (Cathie), Glori-Faye, Todd (Pam), Rick (Darlene), Cheryl (Ed), Mike (Sue Ann), Allen, Susan, Kathy (Warren), Patti (Colin), Russ, Keith (Tamara), Karen (Robin), Melanie (Garth), Jackie (Daryl), Warren (Kim), Mavis, Sid (Jackie), Brent (Donna), Sandra, Shawn (Dionne), Jason (Megan), Renea, Lori (Kelly), Lee (Shirley), Greg (Laura), Mark (Shannon), Andrea (Toni) and James (Colleen). He is also survived by many extended family members, lifelong and new friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Glen Ewen Communiplex.
