She was predeceased by: her husband Nick Sakowich; and her son John Sakowich. She is survived by: her children, Pete Sakowich, Tony Sakowich (Brenda), Joe Sakowich (Janet), Joanne Stoebich (Tony), Bob Sakowich (Michelle) and Marlene Eckel (Russ); and her grandchildren, Mark Sakowich (Chantal), Darren Sakowich (Jen), Kendrah Wells (Curtis), Selena Sakowich (Dusty), Arlana Genest, Stacy Sakowich, Matthew Sakowich, Zachary Tune (Reshma), Rebecca Sakowich, Brianne Sakowich, Jolene Bidulka (Chris), Jammie Fischer (Luke), Nicholas Stoebich (Kristy), Nicholas Sakowich, Michael Eckel (Chelsea) and Jessica Pollard (Colton). She is also survived by 26 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren as well as numerous extended family.
