It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leon Cornet of Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan, born in Val Marie, Saskatchewan, who passed away on August 21, 2013, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Gail Sadlemeyer of Mossbank, SK; his parents, Pierre Cornet and Rita Cornet; his siblings, Rene Cornet and Irene L'Heureux; and also, Walter "Ole" and Ella "Bud" Sadlemeyer.

He is survived by : his children, Beau Geste Leon (Sandi) and Jacqueline Kristina (Calvin); his grandchildren, Cohen and Ella; his brothers, Jacques Cornet and Claude Cornet; his siblings-in-law, Maxine Cornet (Jerry Spence), Elaine Gunsch (Al) and Edward "Chuck" Sadlemeyer (Marion); and his friends, Intheran Pillay and Larita Ramlakhan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Predeceased by his parents Pierre and Rita Cornet; brother Rene Cornet and sister Irene L'Heureux; Gail's parents Walter "Ole" and Ella "Bud" Sadlemeyer; Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 2:00 p. m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Co-Cathedral, Gravelbourg, SK.
