He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Steininger and Mathilda Steininger (Krieger); his sister Delores; and his siblings-in-law, Lloyd, Lawrence, Bill and Arlene.
He is survived by: his wife Adelle; his children, Kim (Valerie), Troy (Corinne), Tracey (Mike) and Dawn (Garnet); his grandchildren, Stephen (Ameena), Shane (David), Brittany (Kendrick), Shaylin (Darren), Brianne (Rob), Mathew (Alysha), Ashley, Jordan (Ben), Emily (Andrew), Kendal and Tyler (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Nel, Lexie, Simon, Brynlee, Lucas, Aiden, Kaydence and Halle; his sisters, Norma, Marge and Gloria (Ron); and his brother-in-law Richard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
