He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin and Ida (McLoughry); his wife Geraine Thompson; and his brothers, Bill, Bob, Tom and Francis.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie (Lana), Louisa (Bruce) and Mary (Kent); his grandchildren, Twyla (Jamie), Kurtis (Kelsey), Melissa (Jeff), Haydon (Tawni) and Emily; his great grandchildren, Eric, Khloe, Matthew, Jack, Adeline, Bishop and Dominic; his brother Alec (Bev); and his sibling's children, Kelly, Sharron, Sandra, Laura, Angela, Ilona, Grant, Garth, Bill, John, David and Wayne.
