He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Beleznay and Rose Beleznay; his parents-in-law, Michael and Katherine Semko; and his granddaughter Mackenzie-Skye Rooney.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Beleznay; his children, Michael Beleznay and Tammy Rooney (Daniel); his grandson Connor Beleznay; and his brother Ellwood Beleznay (Lorraine).
