He was predeceased by: his parents, Barame Brunet and Jeanne "Jane" Brunet. He is survived by: his children, Melvina Bear, Leona Towers, Camille Brunet (Morris Phillips), Lyle Brunet (Tania) and Jennifer Payne. He is also survived by 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 19 grand children, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
