It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Mavis Nicholson in Herbert, Saskatchewan, born in Central Butte, Saskatchewan, who passed away on March 26, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 6th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Moose Jaw Funeral Home (268 Mulberry Ln, Moose Jaw, SK S6J1N1). Due to restrictions regarding Covid-19, a Private Family Service will be held to honour Mavis.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in Mavis' name be made to either the Central Butte Seniors Centre, PO Box 509, Central Butte, SK S0H 0T0 or Iver Main Place, PO Box 550, Central Butte, SK. S0H 0T0.
