He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Eberle and Augusta Eberle; his siblings, Gary Eberle, Len Eberle (Lea), Werner Eberle (Lillian), Joe Eberle Jr., Else Farncombe (Allan), Marga Kager (Frank), Hilde Eberle and Edna Rediger (Arnie); and his parents-in-law, William Tonnies and Sophie Tonnies.

He is survived by: his son Dwight; his wife Judy Eberle; his brother Ed Eberle (Lucille) of Humboldt; his sister-in-law Adelaide Eberle of Edmonton; and also, Frank, Sheila Lefebvre (Dave), Justin (Steph), Jarvis, Dwight Eberle (Lori), Brittany, Travis, Tracy Rueve (Kent), Taylor, Bryce, Kalvin and Ethan.
