He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ashdohonk and Annie Goodvoice Ashdohonk; his siblings, Alec Ashdohonk, Jerome Ashdohonk, Tony Ashdohonk, Hilliard Ashdohonk and Alice Lavallee; his son Darrel Mcrae; and his granddaughter Charlene Thomson.

He is survived by: his niece Illa Aisaican; his son Bradly; his grandchildren, Terra, Arlene (Mitch), Marcel and Lauren; and his close friend Gordon Webster. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A wake was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Community Hall.
