She was predeceased by : her father William Knash; her son Kevin; her mother Mary Chalupiak (Novakowski); her stepfather Mike Chalupiak; her son Curtis Swiderski; her brothers, Edward and Nester Knash; her parents-in-law, Jean Grona, Joseph Swiderski and Michael Grona; and her brother-in-law Eugene Swiderski.
She is survived by : her husband Fred; her daughters, Shelley Burghardt (Johnnie) and Trina Helberg (Derek); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ty, Desirae Burghardt, Kole and Hayden Helberg; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Knash, Lillian Faure (Ken), Dennis Swiderski, Myles Swiderski and Dale Grona. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to Saskatchewan Mental Health Association or to the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Verna Swiderski.
