It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Chorney (Ituna, Saskatchewan), who passed away on July 3, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Onufrey and Sophie; and his sisters, Helen, Shirley, Margaret, Ann and Lucy.
He is survived by : his wife Sylvia Chorney (Zylyk); and his sons, Curtis, Travis (Tina) and Terris.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Overseas Ukrainian relief efforts, a cause close to James' heart as a proud Canadian of Ukrainian descent.
