It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barry Thies of Kamsack, Saskatchewan, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Barry Thies to show support.
He was predeceased by: his mother Olga Thies; and his grandparents, Molly, Otto Thies, Mary and William Protzak.
He is survived by: his daughter Brittany; his son-in-law Matthew McGeough of Lumsden, SK; his grandchildren, Scout and Fritz McGeough of Lumsden; his father Leslie Thies; his sister Kimberly Thies of Kamsack, SK; and his friend Bev. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, special friends, and friends.
A prayer will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (234 Independent St, Yorkton, SK S3N0S8).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Barry may be made to the Firefighters Burn Fund, Yorkton Wildlife Federation or to Firststep Wellness Centre, Regina as gifts of remembrance.
