He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Brass and Margaret Severight; his son Alfred Severight; his sister Kimberly Cote-Whitehawk; and his nephews, William H Keshane and Curtis Cote Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Enilda Cote; his children, Iona Severight (Wayne), Kaston Cote and Josie Cote (D'Shaun); his grandchildren, Nadaleigh Straightnose, Angel Severight, Latoyah Laughren, Arin Raphael, Savanah Key, Leonardo Raphael, Lakota Laughren, Xavier Raphael, River Leigh Kakakaway and Dana Raphael; his siblings, Danny Severight, Beverly Keshane (Gerald), Eddie Severight (Chasity), Joseph Severight, Bernadette Kehane (Henry), Rodney Desmarais, Lynette Brass and Trish Brass; his nephews, Rodney Keshane, Matthew Keshane and Henry Keshane; and his cousin Joseph. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A wake was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Keeseekoose Chiefs Educational Center Keeseekoose Chiefs Educational Center. A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
