Robert Cote Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Tony Cote (Mahkaw) and Sadie Cote; his grandparents, John, Rose Friday, Frank and Ellen Cote; his grandson Quinton Cote (Quinnie); his brothers, Edward Cote, Laurie Cote and Ronald Tourangeau; his nephew Dallas Cote; and his brother-in-law Eugene McNab.

He is survived by: his children, Kelly Shingoose, Raven Shingoose, Robert Cote Jr. (Hannah), Kiauna Sutherland (Phillip), Celeste Bird, Chris Bird, Blair Bird, Novalee Fox and Anthony; his grandchildren, Misty Lee Bird (Jamey), Aaron Bird, Emmit Bird, Destiny Bird, Xavier Shingoose, Kelly Shingoose, Jr., Lorraine Shingoose, Norinne Shingoose, Shirleen Shingoose, Phillistine Shingoose, Jasper Cote, Andros Fox, Mark Fox, Tristan Fox, Tasheena Fox, Leighton Fox and Lucious Fox; his great grandchildren, Cali, Jamison, Weston, Serenity, Haisley, Bryson, Bowie and Djay; his siblings, Beverley Whitehawk, Denise Cote, Faye Cote, Joan Cote, Sadie Friday (Delbert), Lavonne Secretan (Kent), Johnny Cote and Willett Tourangeau (Jennifer); his siblings-in-law, James Whitehawk and Sheryl Cote; his siblings' children, John Ketchemonia, Tony Cote, Tony Whitehawk, Valerie Cote, Camilla Whitehawk, Jaime Keshane (Glen), Berni Cote, Jody Cote, Daneen Cote, Jasmine McNab (Justin) and Jenna McNab (Colby); and his close friends, Clayton, David and Victor.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Chief Gabriel Cote Education Complex. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
