He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Peter; his grandfathers, Wuzzy and Chipierre; his mother Phyllis; his grandparents, Mary Brass, Gordon Papequash, Peter and Elizabeth Tourangeau; his aunts and uncles, Judy, Eileen, Rita R., Josephine, Doreen, Lorne, Norman, Vernon, Peter and Gordon Jr. Wilbert (Joey); his children, Wellesley Jr. (Boy), Alexandria, Travis, Bella and Jackson; his grandchildren, Malayah, Anton, Alyvia, Atreyre and Layla; his sisters, Jackie Cote (Allan), Sharon Jaxson (Brody) and Laureena Brass; his nieces and nephews, Caitlin Cook (Kyle), Cori Hayden-Buffalo (Dallas), Kali Brass, Shane, Ashley, Joey and Brody; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ethan, Abby, Cassidy, Terrance, Raynie, Ryan and Rylee Numerous. He was also cherished by Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
