Eugene Owerko Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Owerko and Mary Owerko; his wife Olga Owerko; his parents-in-law, Nick and Pauline Prymak; and his siblings-in-law, Annie Macza (Louie), Ted Prymak, Elmer Fushtey and Lorne Misiurski.

He is survived by: his children, Kelly Owerko (Treena), Alexandra, Austin (Ashley), Mathew of Okotoks, Kim Evans (Terry), Scott, Kayla, Seth of White City, Jason Owerko and Nikolas of Regina; his brother Stan Owerko (Marge); and his sisters-in-law, Rose Fushtey and Mary Misiurski. He is also survived by friends, family and especially his grandchildren.

Eugene was recognized for his contributions to the Lions club in 2018 with a plaque for 30 years of service and lifetime membership.
