He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Papequash and David Genaille; and his grandparents, Archie and Alice Papequash. He is survived by: his wife Jeanna; his children, Joseph, Jacob and Jerik; his uncles, Clarence Papequash and Gerry Papequash; and his aunt Patricia O'Riordan. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A wake was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Key First Nation Saulteauplex Hall. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
