He was predeceased by: his wife Daisy Frostad; his parents, Carl Frostad and Lois Frostad; his sister Marjorie Lehmann; his siblings-in-law, Mary Frostad and Roger Fixsen; and his great grandchild Becca Frostad.

He is survived by: his children, David Frostad (Adeline), Carl Frostad (Cecile Corbiere), Claire Frostad (Esther), Nata Kline (David), Rhys Frostad, Veleta Klassen (Delmar), Gary Frostad (Pearl) and Jeffery Frostad (Sandra); his siblings, Dr. Lloyd Frostad, June Sawatzky (Harvey) and Ellen Fixsen; and his brother-in-law Wes Lehmann. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren.

Donations in memory of Gerald Frostad will be graciously accepted by The Gideons and will be used to fund the distribution of Bibles.
