He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pigula and Mary Pigula (Konstantynwich); his siblings, Gladys Melnychuk (Joseph), Anne Baynes (Bruce Baynes), Peter Pigula, William Pigula (Judy Olson), Sophie Pigula and Mike Pigula; and his nephew Peter Melnychuk.

He is survived by: his wife Lillian Soderholm; his stepdaughter Betty Soderholm; his siblings, Eileen Pigula and Alex Pigula; and his sisters-in-law, Janis, Jeanette and Doris Pigula. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
