He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Simonson and Mathilda Simonson; his sisters, Grace Simonson and Myrtle Pedersen; and his son Mark Simonson.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Simonson; his children, Shelley Doell (Alan), Lance Simonson (Judy) and Laurel Tebo (Bill); and his daughter-in-law Donna. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 38 great grandchildren.
