Mary E. Ditson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary E. Ditson of Kindersley, Saskatchewan, who passed away on March 19, 2023 at the age of 106. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Wheeler and Malvina Wheeler; her former husband Lorne Smith; her son David (Iris); her grandson Rick Hillacre; her great grandchild Byron; and her siblings, Irene, Lillian, Muriel, Marjorie and Mervyn.

She is survived by: her spouse Cecil Ditson; her children, Barbara Hillacre, Terry and Ralph (Shirley); her daughter-in-law Ruth Shepherd; her grandchildren, Janice (Will), Lori (Dana), Zoe (Sean), Bonnie (Sebastian), Terami, Clancy (Ashleigh), Dennis (Melissa) and Devin (Fatima); and her stepchildren, Ken, Don (Janet), Sharon and Barry (Ruth). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Institute for the Blind (CNIB), whose services Mary greatly appreciated.
