Though Joyce may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Linda McGiffin and Bryson McGiffin; and her close friend Russell Casey. She is survived by: her children, Paul Middleton (family: Linda Middleton, Jared McKimm) of Nanaimo, BC, Pamela Smith (Dean, family: Zachary Smith, Ben Smith) of Cranbrook, BC and Valerie Parenteau (Conrad, family: Jennifer Parenteau, Bryson Parenteau, Jordan Parenteau) of Struthers Lake, SK; and her daughter-in-law Natasia Ilkiw. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
