It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gertrude Marie Montgrand of La Ronge, Saskatchewan, who passed away on April 13, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, John Merasty and Marie Merasty; and her husband Alfred Montgrand. She was also cherished by her grandchildren, children, nieces, nephews, and even some friends.

She then eventually sat as an Elder for various boards (CFS, NITHA) up until Covid hit in 2020.
