He was predeceased by : his wife Elsie Lillian Halkett; his sons, Jonas Gerry Halkett, Colin Halkett, Tommy Halkett and Van Halkett; his parents, Flora Angelique Halkett and Archdeacon Charlie Amos Halkett; his daughter Charlotte Halkett; his granddaughter Della Star Johnson; and his siblings, Christian Forest, Mary Joinson and Glen Halkett.

He is survived by : his children, Stan (Christina), Doris (Rene), Willard (Flora), Glen, Jeffery (Anne) and Sheldon Halkett (Freda); his grandchildren, Jennifer, William, Charlene, Dana, Jonas, Jason, Bianca (Thomas), Alexis, Ashley, Alysha, Azteca, Renelda, Willard Jr., Chad, Jeremy, James, Darryl, Delphine, Tyrone, Jeff, Elsie, Zacheus, Marcus, Roberta, Flora and Jozie; his daughters, Irene Ratt and Betty Sanderson; his godchildren, Larry Halkett and Lori Viney; and his siblings, Thompson Halkett, Walter Halkett and Doris Morin (Brian). He is also survived by his 22 great-grandchildren.
