Rudolph "Rudy" Phillip Percy Mirasty was born on Sunday, February 19, 1956 in La Ronge, SK and passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 61 years. Rudy is survived by his loving family: his wife, Caroline (nee Roberts) Mirasty; his sons, Baptiste (Jayleen) Mirasty, and their children, Brianna and Jase, and Curtis Mirasty (Patsy Ross); his daughter, Lisa Mirasty; his special nephews, Creeson Roberts, Baylee Sanderson, Rylee Morin, Carter Morin, Kolby Morin and Brody Kinch; his special nieces, Michelle Stephansson, Megan Morin, Samantha Roberts and Celine Roberts; his sisters, Sharon Mirasty, Marlene Mirasty and Maureen Neufeld; his brothers, Robert Mirasty, Kurt Batschkewitz and Darwin Mirasty; his special aunt, Demar Mirasty; his aunts and uncles, Florence Charles, Amy Milne, Angelique Mirasty, Victoria Mirasty, Mary Ann Mirasty and Josiah Mirasty (Ruby); his god-sons, Jason Roberts and Taylor Morin; and his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Patsy & Ray Head, Bella & Allen Bradfield, Josie Roberts, William Roberts, Norman Roberts and Sam & Sally Roberts; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother, Lydia Maggie Mirasty; his grandparents, Percy & Betsy Charles; his sister, Joanne Mirasty; his uncles, Jack Mirasty and Daniel Mirasty; his aunts, Minnie Van Tassle, Caroline Ratt and Bella McKenzie; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry & Lydia Roberts; his brothers-in-law, Moses Roberts, Jonas Roberts and John Kinch; and his best friend, Lawrence McCallum.
A wake service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017 and continuing on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Potato Lake, SK. Rudy's funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017 at All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Tom Sanderson and Edna Mirasty officiating. Interment to follow at La Ronge Anglican Church Cemetery.
