It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Bird (La Ronge, Saskatchewan), who passed away on November 21, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Absolom Bird; her children, Betsy Daigneault, Thompson and James Bird; her parents, Walter Halkett and Charlotte Halkett; her siblings, Henry, Jeptha, Stephen, Julius, Jean Halkett, Maggie Ross and Demar Hastings; her parents-in-law, John and Betsy Bird; her siblings-in-law, Julius Bird, Sandy Bird, Frank Ross, John Hastings, Mary Bird, Alice Moberly and Grace McKenzie; and her children-in-law, Amos Roberts, Elmer Daigneault, Bradley Starr and Theresa Bird.

She is survived by : her sister Annie Halkett; her children, Virginia Roberts, John Bird (Marie), Stella Hill (Jonathan) and Rene Bird; her grandchildren, Jennifer Roberts-Cook (Sheldon), Tayven Roberts (Shannon), Kristen McKenzie (Wayne), Teron Roberts (Denise), William Roberts, Demrien Hill, Shane Naytowhow, Shawna Naytowhow, Melissa Olson (Brendan), Bobby Isbister, Telsa McKenzie, Fawn Bird (BJ), Jordan Daigneault, Carlos Starr and Brettner Starr; her great grandchildren, Trisha, Tristen Olson, Benjamin, Felicity Bird and Neveah Ross; and her great great grandchild Jerry Nelson.
