She was predeceased by: her husband Norm McLeod; and her parents, Madeleine Lacree (Blondeau) and Bill Lacree. She is survived by: her brother Brian Lacree (Christine); her sons, Robert Byers and Xiu Li; her grandchildren, Michael, Jared, Chantell, David and Penny Byers; her great grandchildren, Kurtis and Christina; her grandchildren, Kevin and Annette Byers; her great grandchild Jordan; and her stepchildren, Joanne McLeod, Janice Reach, Stephen McLeod and Judy McLeod.
