She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence "Walls" Bellegarde and Catherine Akapew; her siblings, Karen Lavoie and Sheldon Akapew; her brothers-in-law, Gary Gordon and James Maurice; and her son Sheldon Bitternose.
She is survived by : her children, Randine (Heath), Austin (Solange), Cheyenne (Nathan) and Tia; her siblings, Nadine, Lawrence, Laureen and Delanne (Donnie); her adoptive children, Travis Oochoo, Yolainha Machiskinic and Zaya Musqua; her sister Bev Bellegarde; and her grandsons, Quannah Bellegarde and Courage Bitternose-Akapew. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
