Gertrude touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Patzwald and Lydia Patzwald (Stockinger); her husband Alfred Domres; her son Robert; her great grandchild Karl Geres; her siblings, Emma Herndier (Ernie), Erna Herndier (Karl), Julius (Ida), Robert (Lillian), Albert (Elsie), Herman (Erna), Edward (Jean), Elmer (Liz) and Matt (Arlene); her parents-in-law, Gottfried and Ottilia Domres; and her brothers-in-law, Arthur (Doris) and John (Helen).
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Wilson (Don), Peggy Rhinelander (John), Lorraine Geres (Brian) and Valerie Domres; her grandchildren, Kayer Wilson, Scott Wilson, Rebecca Caron (Shane), David Rhinelander (Louise), Christopher Rhinelander, Michael Geres (Tanya Leibel) and Adam Geres (April); and her great grandchildren, Samantha Pekrul, Madelynn Rhinelander (Mom Krista), Carissa Nash, Lola, Peyton, Audra Caron, Kylee Schmidt, Radek, Zackary, Natalie Geres, Weston and Liv Geres.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (127 Martin St, Lemberg, SK S0A0A7).
