He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Moise and Philomene Moise; the mother of his children Marjorie Papequash; his daughter Laurie; his close friend Mary Jane Straightnose; and his siblings, Alexandria Crowe, Henry Moise, Myrtle Crowe, Joseph Moise Jr., Elanor Moise and Shirley Anne Moise.
He is survived by: his sisters, Pauline Moise and Marlene Moise-Hansen; and his children, Keith Papequash (Kariah), Kevin Ken Papequash (Michelle), Maxine Papequash (Brad), Wilbert Papequash (Melanie), Bridget Papequash and Stewart Keshane. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
