He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Akan; and his brothers, Leonard and Henry. He is survived by: his siblings, Marion "Pearl" Akan, Richard Akan and Brian Aiken (Barb). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family & friends.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Lestock Town Hall (322 Touchwood Hills Ave, Lestock, SK S0A2G0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
