He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jorgensen and Lillian Jorgensen (Bowbyes); and his brothers, Clarence (Elda Jorgensen), Earl (Mollie Jorgensen) and Merle (Delia Jorgensen).

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Fred Jorgensen (Yvette), Keith Jorgensen (Stephanie), Dennis Jorgensen (Stella), Raelene Ronald (David) and Valerie Byrne; his sister Evelyn; his brother-in-law Walter Opperman; and his niece Darlene Meier.
