She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Howard Sloan; her son Tod Sloan; her parents, Earl Gudmundson and Milly Gudmundson; and her siblings, Lois Kendel (Butch), Gail Courtice (John), Glen Gudmundson (Jewel), Don Gudmundson, Barry Gudmundson and Debbie Gudmundson.
She is survived by: her son Rick Sloan (Sewaa); her grandchildren, Austin and Kwame; and her brother Brad Gudmundson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Livelong Community Hall.
