He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alvin Horton, Irma and Henry Schmidt. He is survived by: his parents, Donna Schmidt and Karl Schmidt; his sister Amada Gavel (Brian); his nieces and nephews, Ashton Schmidt, Owen Gavel and Dylan Gavel; his sister Adelle Schmidt (Chris Rosseau); and his nephew Nathan Rosseau (Ty Clemence). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
