He was predeceased by : his father Harry Martel; his grandparents, Ernest Dillon and Mary Ann Martell; and his aunts and uncles, Evelyn Dillon, Anne Wright, Doreen Dillon, Marie Flint, Annie Ironbow, Madeline Martell, Vincent Dillon, Larry Dillon, Leslie Greyeyes and Joe Martell.

He is survived by : his mother Lorraine Martel; his grandmother Mary Jean Dillon; his siblings, Carl Martel, Andrea Martel and Kevin Martell (Amy); his stepsiblings, Lorie Ann Dillon, Kathy Littlewolfe, Larry Littlewolfe, LoriAnn Angus, Drayton Angus, Yolanda Angus and Trent Angus; his nieces and nephews, Sophie Martel, Natalia Martel and Kendrick Martell; and his aunts and uncles, Florence Oppisinow, Reta Dillon (Gordie), Debbie Dillon (Rick), Sylvia Myo (Clifford), Elliott Dillon (Vivian), Terry Dillon (Judy Ann), Dwayne Dillon (Connie) and Jason Dillon. He is also survived by numerous cousins and relatives.
