We announce the death of Troy Preston (Lloydminster, Saskatchewan), who passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 40. Troy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joyce, Ingmar Horness, Ray and Hilda Preston; and his uncles, Ray, Dale, Harvey Horness, Harold and Stan Preston.

He is survived by: his children, Dylan and Kaybrie Preston; his parents, Dixie Horness (Doug White) and Wayne Preston (Deb Hansen); his brother Tyler Preston (Cassandra); his nephews, Wyatt and Everett; and his niece Edith.
