He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Thorpe (Beatrice "Amy" Thorpe) and Amy Thorpe; his sister Kathleen Wright (Thorpe); and his brothers-in-law, Gary and Darryl Dietz.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Thorpe; his daughter Shelley Nogue; his son-in-law Daniel Nogue; his daughter Sheila Thorpe; his son-in-law Bill Williams; his grandsons, Andrew Nogue and Nathan Nogue; his in-laws, Joan, Bill Britton, Linda, Craig Svanda, Dennis Dietz (Glenda) and Susan Dietz; and his pets, Ava and Bella. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, or a local palliative care unit so that others may receive the same care and concern that was afforded to Ron in his final days.
