With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denis Anthony Friedrich (Macklin, Saskatchewan), who passed away on February 16, 2026 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Friedrich and Aileen Friedrich; his father-in-law Gary Bienert; and his sister-in-law Colleen Beauvais. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Delaney (Jesse), Ava (Jackson) and Logan; his siblings, Theresa Van Soest (Neil), Debbie Sekulic (Mike), Jim (Carlene) and Lori Goebel (Cameron); his siblings' children, Christopher, Jonathan (Mykaela), Robert, Alison (Mark), Luke, Jessica, Kerry, Kelsey, Andrew, Nicholas and Alicia; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Karol, Gemma, Casimir, Rosalie, Blaise and Donatus; his mother-in-law Brigitte Bienert; his brother-in-law Dave Bienert (Anna); and his nephews-in-law, Braden (Dannielle) and AJ. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
A vigil service was held on Thursday, February 19th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church (4805 Express Ave, Macklin, SK S0L2S0). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
