He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sperling and Lena Sperling; and his brother Ron Sperling. He is survived by: his sister Linda McGarry (John); his nephew Wayne (Kara); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kailee, Jordan and Jenna; his nephew Brent (Lisa); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jonathan, Taryn and Brynn; and his niece Lisa (Lane).
