She was predeceased by: her son Robert Swanstrom (Robin); her sister Noreen Pickford; and her parents, William Franz (Bill) and Dorothy Franz (Dot). She is survived by: her husband Robert Swanstrom (Bob); her daughter Rhonda Christensen (Lyle); her granddaughters, Alana Wilkie (Randy) and Karlee Walker (Lochlan); and her great grandchildren, Calum, Alden, Audrey and Nora.

Donations in memory of Joyce may be made to the Maidstone Health Complex - Pine Island Lodge.
