She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen June Koponyas and Clarence Primeau; and her stepfather Nick Koponyas. She is survived by: her husband Ken Klassen; her children, Mike Klassen and Tanya Klassen-Lee (Jondalar Lee); her grandchildren, Aaron Klassen, Kristy Klassen and Katerina Lee; and her siblings, Donna Harman (Shaun Harman) and Larry Koponyas (Paula Koponyas). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
