It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Allan Holowaychuk (Martensville, Saskatchewan), who passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jarrett; his parents, John Holowaychuk and Violet Holowaychuk; and his parents-in-law, Nick and Dora Melnechenko.

He is survived by: his wife Loreen Melnechenko; his son John Aaron (Noime); his grandson Nicoy; his daughter Rebecca (Shane Lincoln); his grandchildren, Shay, Aubrey, Jesse and Kayben; his siblings, Norman (Michelle), Iris (Ron Wolfe), Harvey (Lorraine) and Judy (Dan Abel); and his in-laws, Lorne and Evelyn Skoronski.

Len loved dogs, so charitable donations may be made to Prairie Pooches Rescue, Box 159, Cando, Sask, S0K0V0, or a charity of your choice.
