He was predeceased by: his wife Helena; and his parents, João Capronczai and Maria Capronczai. He is survived by: his children, Lucia Helena Oanta (Sebastian) and Marco Antonio Kapronczai Filho (Jennifer); and his siblings, Ivan Kapronczai, Barbara Kapronczai, Juliana Kapronczai, Miguel Carlos Kapronczai, Roberto Kapronczai, Vera Lucia Lavergne and José Maria Kapronczai.
