He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Evelyn Blenkinsop; his children, Werner Spenst (Sherry), Lori Wilkinson (John), Samantha Hinke (Lawrence), Bobbi-Leigh Spenst, Candace Byers, Jason Byers (Nicole) and Greg Byers; and his parents, Thelma Spenst and Ted Spenst.
