With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leora Thiessen of Maryfield, Saskatchewan, who passed away on June 7, 2023. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leora Thiessen to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, John Friesen and Elizabeth Friesen; her husband Norman Thiessen; and her children, Byron, Dale (Janet), Cheryl Friesen (Harold), Rhonda Sweeting (Tim), Myra Kroeker (Wes), Brian (Frieda) and Steven (Leanna). She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and spouses and 26 great grandchildren and spouses.

In lieu of flowers memorial tributes may be made to Sunrise Villa, Maryfield, in memory of Leora.
