He was predeceased by: his sisters, Marjorie, Thelma Legge (John), Hazel Cleland (Bob) and Bea Suitor (Fred); and his parents, Norman Thomas and Pearl Thomas.

He is survived by: his wife Val; his daughters, Tanis and Marlis Woodard (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Elyse and Jasper Woodard. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donations in memory of Doyle may be made to the Weyburn Salvation Army.
